After a long period of research and trying to decide whether to keep my first motorhome (my “Inspiration“) – (“The Great Motorhome Debate“) — I finally decided to do what I really wanted in my heart and bought a new-to-me motorhome!
I’m still getting it all ready to hit the road, so until I have more time to do a more complete blog post, here are some public pictures I posted to Facebook (you don’t need an account to see them). My new rolling home: 2012 Winnebago Adventurer 35P. And I have finally decided the perfect name for her is “Kismet” given the miraculous way that she came to me. I continue to be amazed at the number of miracles and angels that still come my way to help keep my travel dreams alive!
I am also happy to announce I finally got rid of the Ford Escape and all the breakdowns and worries caused by it not being safely flat towable as was represented by Ford. I’m so happy with my little Honda Fit! Her name is “Serendipity” since it was yet another happy miracle.
Next trip: My plans have changed several times due to delays in getting everything all ready and working out the kinks that seem to be part of any RV purchase , but I’ve now decided I want to spend a good part of the summer in Tennessee near the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. I’m already so excited just looking at the pictures and all the nearby attractions I can hardly wait!
I will be headed south again via the Natchez Trace Parkway. I’m very excited about this historical journey and getting to see the parkway showing off the fall colors.
Any tips on the Great Smoky Mountains or the Natchez Trace, please do email me: Malia@MaliasMiles.com – I’d love to hear from you!
