Make
Malia Your Virtual Assistant
|
 |
| Why
do I need you? |
| Many
business people today feel like they have to take more work upon themselves
because they've found onsite employees are ultimately too expensive.
Besides salary, figure on employment taxes, benefits, overtime, insurance,
sick leave, vacations, etc. Factor in wasted and unproductive time...wouldn't
it be much more cost-effective to pay only for the time work is actually
being done for your benefit? Free up more of your time for
what inspires you and is profitable - let me handle the more mundane
aspects and rest assured in the knowledge that I will treat each of
your tasks as if my own business depends on it - because it does. |
| What
can you do for me? |
| Hiring
me as your virtual assistant allows you to run your business without
taking up your own valuable office space and supervision time. My
office is fully equipped with two computers loaded with word processing
and software programs for all kinds of projects, high speed Internet
access, fax capability, dictation transcription equipment and color
printer. Both long and short term assignments are welcome. |
- Professional
documents and forms ready when YOU need them.
- Business
correspondence drafted.
- Proofreading
and editing - not just for grammar, but for content discrepancies,
clarity and flow.
- Research
of all kinds.
- PowerPoint
presentations.
- Direct mail
projects created and managed.
- Newsletters
(either custom made using desktop publishing software or with
mass mailing services such as Constant Contact).
- Brochures,
business cards, announcements.
- Website design
and maintenance.
- Scheduling
and reminders.
|
| What
else could I ask for? |
| Professional
quality, reasonable rates, convenience, reliability and someone who
cares about the success of your business. That IS what you want from
your assistant after all, isn't it? My hourly fees come out to be
less expensive than on-site staff or using a temp agency for someone
fulltime with my experience and qualifications. And you only pay me
for the time I am actually working on your project - not for coffee
breaks, Internet surfing or daydreaming. |
| What
do your clients say? |
"I
find working with Malia to be a pleasant experience. She is fast,
professional, reliable and, last but not least, patient with me, the
constant disorganized attorney. Feedback from my newsletter,
website
and blog,
all of which Malia worked on, has been fantastic! I highly recommend
her, but not if you are going to steal her away from me...."
--- Patricia E. Kefalas Dudek, Esq.
"I have worked with Malia for over a year now, and I give her
my highest recommendation. My practice involves advising angel investors
and entrepreneurs who are growing their companies and negotiating
lots of transactions; therefore, my practice is document/typing intensive,
and Malia is a great resource for me.
With apologies
to David Letterman, here are the Top Five Things I Like Best About
Working With Malia:
-5. Attitude:
Malia is always willing to help, even with (the occasional) last
minute rush.
-4. Timeliness:
Malia is quick with the turnaround, seemingly working on a 24/7
basis.
-3. Skilled:
Malia either knows how to make PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, etc.
work, or she finds out how: she is not discouraged by something
new and different.
-2. Initiative:
I have a newsletter because of Malia. She took the initiative to
mock up a newsletter
for me (using some of my articles from other venues, and the look
and feel of my website). She then figured out how to email it to
all my Outlook contacts with a personal salutation (so it looks
like I am sending it to each of them personally).
-1. AND THE
NUMBER ONE THING I LIKE ABOUT WORKING WITH MALIA: Intelligent Typing!
Malia will catch inconsistencies in my use of defined terms, grammar
errors (not like I make that many), etc. She isnt just typing
dictation; shes thinking about what shes typing. Thats
rare and priceless.
I give Malia my
highest recommendation."
--- Richard
C. Bruder, Esq. - Enterprise
Law Partners, PLLC
"Malia
is a trusted advisor and service provider. I have been working with
Malia for over a year and we have become a great team. She has been
helpful to me in all areas of my businesses (both legal and entrepreneurial):
research, business development, general organization, billing and
service to my clients. Along with being a great addition to anyone's
team, she's a real pleasure to work with. Her communication style
is easy going, yet she gets to the bottom line.
Also, she may
just be the world's best letter writer. I highly recommend the services
of Malia Lane for your virtual assistant needs."

want to know more. |

My legal experience
began in 1991 when I joined a small legal malpractice law firm.
For the next 10 years, I had the opportunity to learn every aspect
of administering and supporting a law office - from secretary to
office manager to paralegal duties. This gave me a wealth of experience
spanning the legal field, particularly in litigation (my personal
favorite). Since then, exposure to other firms' procedures and programs
gave me a diversity of experience and the ability to quickly and
efficiently assimilate information. Having worked with differing
court systems, I am comfortable with e-filing (in Washington &
Texas), coordinating hearings, scheduling depositions and the necessary
notifications and follow up. I am extremely organized and detail
oriented.
With me you'll
get personalized service according to how YOU like things done.
With me you'll get the best of both worlds - do business with a
small, friendly, personable service provided by a woman who is also
a perfectionist and truly cares about her clients as people.
Email
me for a copy of my complete resume and references, examples
of my work, for more information, or to schedule a telephone conference
to discuss how we might work together.
