I
was here in September and I'd love to see this garden in every season.

every vantage point, there's something else to ooh and ahh over.

The
Porter family enjoying an el fresco garden lunch break. They agreed
this was a great way to spend a beautiful Fall afternoon. There
are plans for a restaurant as part of the expanded welcome center,
but until then, Irma makes a mean ham sandwich!

I've
always been fascinated with the art of Bonsai, so found this little
garden most enjoyable.
|
|||
|
Be
sure to bring along some binoculars for the Birdsong Trail through
the Woodland Nature Preserve for closer viewing of the more than
70 species of birds with homes here.
