visited. While ads are a source of revenue for this site, I would

EL
TAPATIO RESTAURANT
The
Padilla Family
Welcomes You!
|
2075
N. Pacific Highway
Ashland, OR
(541) 488-2276
|
|
| The
Padilla Family owns several restaurants in the Pacific Northwest area,
but here are directions to the one I visited located between Ashland
and Phoenix: From I-5 South, take Exit 19, turn Right on Valley View
Road. The restaurant is at the junction there just a jog to the right,
so go across SR 99 into their parking area. |

Malia's
2 cents: The
first thing I ask when I get into a new town is "Where's
the Mexican food?" I considered this one a great find as
it was near my home in Ashland and very reasonably priced for
excellent food. I especially like it when they give you the
option to build your own combo, letting you choose among several
items so you can truly "have it your way." |

| MORNING
GLORY RESTAURANT |
1149
Siskiyou Blvd.
Ashland, OR
(541) 488-8636
|
|
|
| Enjoy
casual dining in this cute little house with its healthy and delicious
breakfast or lunch choices. Check out the menu on their website
or see what Passport2Ashland
has to say. |

Malia's
2 cents: More
than a couple of local people told me not to miss this restaurant,
and as usual, I took the advice of those "in the know."
What a treat! Their version of ham & cheese is not at all
the usual run-of-the mill fare: (Black Forest Ham, Melted Brie,
Caramelized Onions with Dijon Mustard) served with oven-roasted
garlic fries. Yummy! |
|
|
|
|
Directions:
It's not easy to see from the street, but it's right next to the
Subway shop. The driveway is kinda narrow and the parking lot small,
so don't even THINK about going here in the RV. From I-5 South,
take Exit 19, turn right on Valley View Road, then left on SR 99
about 3.5 miles - you'll go through Ashland as Main St. turns into
Siskiyou Blvd. The restaurant is on the left side of the street
from that direction across from Southern Oregon University.

(541) 488-0295
|
|
| An

pies. See this article
from Passport2Ashland for a peak at some of their other menu items.

Malia's
2 cents: I
just LOVE a restaurant that serves breakfast and fresh brewed
coffee all day long. From the moment I stepped inside, I was
greeted like family by one of the friendliest waitresses ever.
So both the food and service made this a regular stop for me
on the drive to Ashland. My recommendation: The Farmer's Omelette
with a few green chiles thrown in! |
|
|
|
| Directions:
From I-5 South, take Exit 19, turn right on Valley View Road, left
on SR 99 (a/k/a Pacific Hwy; N. Main Street), then 1.2 miles to The
Breadboard on the left. |
