At
the bottom of the lower circle of the RV sites, there's a great
little trail that winds along the lake, flanked by hills and mountains
to make it even more interesting and attractive.

It's
a nice easy stroll, only 1/3 mile to the end of the trail. During
my stay here the week of April 21, there was still a hint of snow
on the mountains, making the warm sun even more welcome.

The
rowing team was out this morning - moving quietly among the ducks
and a few fishermen on the calm water.

The
different shades of purples and yellows against the lush green mountainsides
made this a very enjoyable morning walk for me every day that I
stayed at the park. There were even wild iris dotted along the lakeside.

There
even appears to be a guardian prince overlooking the area. Everytime
I walked here, this rock looked more and more like a frog to me.

Your
reward at the end is a conveniently located boulder which makes
a great seat to relax and enjoy the view.

Heading
back, this is looking back at the park at the edge of the lake.
That little dot you see in this picture toward the middle is a big
motorhome in site 21.
