"What
is man without the beasts? If all the beasts were gone, men would
die from a great loneliness of spirit. For whatever happens to the
beasts, soon happens to man. All things are connected."

While
attending a mini-rally of my friends at Open
Roads Singles, we toured Wildlife
Safari and enjoyed a leisurely drive through acres of land filled
with hundreds of animals from Africa, Asia and the Americas.

Elephants
on their walk have the right-of-way and we were always glad to just
stop and watch the animals parade by us.

Sometimes
it felt more like they were watching us!

It's
nice to see them in a freer environment than a zoo-type setting
allows.

You
ever get the feeling you're disturbing somebody's lunch break?

Gibbons
Island - it was fun watching the primates hang around and chill
out.

Malia's
2 cents: I
enjoy this kind of wildlife encounter allowed from the safety
of an enclosed car. I'd rather we humans be a bit more confined
so the animals can have a little more freedom to roam as we
admire them. Wildlife Safari is a non-profit organization and
their support of the animals is sustained only from admissions
and donations. Check them out and tell them I said hi! |
