My visit to Yosemite National Park was in November, 2005. I was so happy to be invited to stay on a friend's property just a few miles from the entrance, so I had the perfect setup, but here is some info on other parks I checked out while there.
Don Pedro State Recreation Area
Moccasin Point Campground
Location Off Highway 120/49 near the intersection with Stent-Jacksonville Road, about 10 miles before Groveland when heading east
Number of sites 50
Site Amenities R.V. Hookup Site: "A" area, Water, sewer, and electricity hookups, paved parking pad, table, and barbeque grill at each site, plus access to hot showers in developed restrooms
Campground Facilities Full service marina, boat rentals (fishing, patio, house boats) storage, mooring, docks, groceries, rental equipment.
Info See Website for info and site map. Note: no dogs allowed at campground.
Rates $18-$25/night, depending on season. See website for reservation info and form.
Notes It's a bit far (35 miles) from Yosemite, but I liked the looks of this campground and thought I'd at least provide the info here.

Site A1 - a pull through

Lake and marina area

Yosemite Pines RV Park
Location 20450 Old Highway 120, Groveland, CA; 22 miles from west entrance to Yosemite
Rates/Reservations See website for various facilities and seasonal rates.
Site Map See website for detailed resort site map.
Misc. See reviews on RVParkReviews.com

Sites are terraced gravel, but seem to be nicely level

As far as full service campgrounds go near the park, this seems like it would be a good choice.

Yosemite Lakes Campground
Location 31191 Hardin Flat Road; Groveland, CA (Off Hwy. 120)
Rates/Reservations See website for info or call 800-533-1001
Notes This is a Thousand Trails campground, but they rent 20 full-hookup (30 amp) sites to non-members.
Misc. Only 5 miles from the west entrance to Yosemite, I think this would have been my choice for the best homebase for exploring the park.
Site 230
Site 244 seen from the upper tier of sites
I didn't get to check out any of the other campgrounds inside the park, but here's a link to the official park site for more info on them. I did drive through Wawona Campground and it looked nice enough to me. Here's a link to a site map of it.
