About
20 miles from Crescent City, heading south on U.S. 101, there's
a parallel scenic byway that runs through the Prairie
Creek Redwoods State Park.

|
It
was especially nice when the trees that were turning colors formed
arches for us to pass under and marvel at.
|
||
|
||
|
Thankfully
there were some pull-offs that were large enough for motorhomes
so you can stop and walk into the groves a bit.
|
||
|
||
|
Just
to be able to touch something so massive and ancient is a profound
experience.
|
||
|
||
|
It can make you feel small, but still so connected and happy to
be part of such wondrous creations.
|
||
